Valle La Paz Foundation

About us

We are a nonprofit civil association that works in rural communities in the hydrological basin south of Valle de Bravo, Sate of Mexico. The Foundation has served this area for years, but is now reinventing itself with new energy based on the experience we have gained.

Vision

To be a reference in the promotion of integrative development of people and rural communities, contributing to improve the quality of life, living conditions of the population, and expanding their life opportunities.

Values and Objectives

To promote a favorable awareness of Mexico’s development based on the care and attention of rural communities, especially those facing the normalization of violence, excessive burdens of domestic work on girls and boys, inadequate food andmalnutrition, scarcity of basic services, and a lack of dignified employment options.

To promote the production and consumption of local and organic foods grown using techniques that protect the environment and soil fertility so as to reinforce health and contribute to improving children’s and young people’s nutrition and food as an indispensable means to stimulate their growth and development.
