At Valle la Paz we firmly believe that human health depends on its foundation: soil health. That’s why we have undertaken the work of linking medicine to agriculture and education. We are convinced that we need a medicine model aimed at improving health (salutogenic model), rather than merely studying and treating diseases (pathogenesis).
At Valle la Paz Foundation we work under biologic agriculture parameters. All our efforts are directed towards improving soil fertility by using renewable and local resources. The fundamental premise is that the greater the biodiversity (inherited variety of all life forms) and the greater the resilience (strength), the greater the health of the entire system, including, of course, human health.
Arts education with a territory perspective can contribute to active participation in solving problems stemming from inequality and structural violence. At Valle la Paz Foundation we have a music training program that is not only a hotbed of talent, but also promotes the exercise of cultural rights, education and the right to a decent life for children and young people in rural communities in the State of Mexico.
